Additive Manufacturing for a Better World is the first international conference organised by the Singapore University of Technology and Design aimed at highlighting the advancements in additive manufacturing (AM) research to address global challenges. This conference is chaired by Professor Chee Kai CHUA, Head of Pillar for Engineering Product Development and leading expert in the area of AM.
This inaugural conference will be held from 23 August to 25 August 2022 in a hybrid of virtual-physical format.
Challenges in the 21st century range from climate change, rapid urbanisation, mounting waste, food security and ageing society to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. This inaugural conference will be a unique platform for the scholarly exchange of research and thought leadership in addressing these complex issues of our time.
We invite contribution of papers to this first edition with the theme of sustainability and healthcare.
All accepted papers will be published in a book of proceedings and indexed in Science Citation Index (SCI) and Scopus via Material Today Proceedings. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit full length paper for publication in a special issue of the journal of Virtual and Physical Prototyping and the International Journal on Bioprinting. 3 Best Paper Awards will be conferred at the end of the conference.
